It's CHLORINE!
Historically bad for your hair, I've been loving what chlorine is doing for my post-ombre locks. When I get out of the pool, I find that my hair has curl and texture as though I used sea salt spray straight from The Red Sea on the day that Jesus parted it.

I don't know what the scientific explanation is behind this secret. Probably something periodic table related. Or perhaps its something that can be explained via a bunson burner or that eye wash station that we had in my high school chemistry lab. (I can't believe I never got to see anyone use that. Seems like a missed opportunity.)
Chlorine. That's my beauty secret. Use it if you wish.

They are important, aren't they?
DeleteChlorine does the exact same thing to my hair! when I get out of our pool I get so excited for it to dry. it always looks amazing. I'm seriously contemplating filling up an empty spray bottle with some. I wonder if it would have the same effect?
ReplyDeleteI thought about doing that too. I know it would be so bad for my hair but its really tempting.
DeleteHAHA YOU LEGIT CRACK ME UP. What's funny is I totally agree!!! Chlorine works wonders, as does lake water. Yeah, gross, I know, but whenever I get out of Lake Conroe my ombre looks uber fab!!! XOXOXO
