My Proposal Story



Kardashian Proposal

 Watching Kim Kardashian's wedding proposal story yesterday, I couldn't help but reminisce about my own. Danny and I actually eloped less than a year of dating, but he still asked my Dad for permission prior to doing so.  Danny and my Dad's talk, however, was much different than how the Kardashian one went down. I know because I was eavesdropping.

Danny: Well, Mike. I'm here to ask you if I can marry your daughter.

My Dad: Really? (surprised)

Danny: Yeah.

My Dad: Is she pregnant?

Danny: Wow. Good question. No.

My Dad: Huh. Well okay then. Cool.

Touching, no? Try to hold back the tears despite that genuinely tender moment.
