If only his old friends at the humane society could see him now.
The food was also very traditional as you can see from our spread of appetizers.
The only thing not labeled in this picture are the chips. They're pronounced "tostitos" and made by a time-honored company in Mexico called "Frito Lay". (Pronounced Frrrrrito. Make sure you really roll the "r.")
And what would a Cinco de Mayo party be without the drinks? My friend Tina whipped up something called "Mexican Bikinis". Not only were they delicious but according to Tina, only 130 calories per glass. They couldn't have been easier to make either.
Salud!
Mexican Bikini Directions
1. Mix 1/2 oz. tequila, 1/2 oz citron vodka, and 1 tsp agave nectar together.
2. Add ice.
3. Cancel all your plans for the next day unless they involve a strict rotation of sleep, greasy food, and intermittent vomiting.
Overall, it was a great Cinco de Mayo. The "seis" de Mayo? Not as ideal.....
How about you guys? Anyone have any margaritas?
