Happy Birthday To Me

It was my birthday this weekend! Because I'm old now, the celebration festivites were pretty tame. The day started off on a high (figuratively not literally) when Danny made me breakfast in bed....

Next on the agenda was a mid morning matinee. We hired a babysitter and saw Argo - the Ben Affleck movie about the Iranian hostage crisis. If I'm being honest, it was way too intense for me, but I definitely learned some things. For example, is everyone aware of how well Ben Affleck is aging?! I had no idea!  It's fantastic.

After the movie we headed home for an afternoon nap. An afternoon family nap, I should say.

Lastly, our friends Jill and Jeremy stopped over to say hi and have a quick drink. I didn't get any pictures of them though so you're gonna have to take my word for it.


In terms of birthday gifts, I had told Danny not to get me a present this year, as I'd recieved the only thing I really wanted two months earlier when Macy came into our lives. And though I meant that, I still kinda wanted a gift certificate to Urban Outfitters, which is why it was so great when he gave me one.

Happy Birthday to me indeed! Being 27 cough is the best!!!!
