Greetings from Fredericksburg!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I'm getting out of dodge for the holiday and heading to Fredericksburg, Texas - a quaint 'lil town two hours west of Austin. Danny and I actually spent our honeymoon there but are returning this time with my Dad, brother, brother's wifey, and of course the bambino.

We're staying at a bed & breakfast - the same one we stayed at during our honeymoon. It's in the middle of nowhere so no need for stilettos and sparkle this NYE. Rather, I'll be packing oversized sweaters, beanies, books - along with the other items you see above.

Happy New Year friends! See ya next year!

details
one. Topshop Beanie. Nobody wears a beanie like Krystal Bick (who got me on the beanie train with posts like this) but I plan to try.

two. Sincerely Jules Sweatshirt. Sincerely Jules is one of my favorite fashion blogs and she's apparently got her own gear now - no surprise I'm a fan of that too. See how she styled this sweatshirt here.

three. Madewell Transport Rucksack .Perfect for all the left over stuff that doesn't quite fit in my suitcase.

four. Expecting Adam. I just started this and it's really good. A married couple, both Harvard alum, get pregnant unexpectedly and learn their unborn baby has down syndrome.

five. Malin + Goetz Travel Cosmetics. I love Malin + Goetz and even traded a few emails with Mr. Malin himself when trying to sign sponsors for the Houston Blogger Symposium. This travel set has everything I need and more for my long weekend!

six. Geometric Sweater. I saw this baby on Pinterest and after some serious clicking I found you can buy it on some random site for only $30! Whaaa!?? Yes please.

seven. Cactus Iphone Case. I don't know that I need this for Fredricksburg specifically - but it's cute, Texas-y, and I want it.

eight.  Bruno Mar's Unorthodox Jukebox.  I have a newfound respect for Bruno Mars upon seeing him host SNL - so good!! And I'm obsessssssssssssssed with this song of his right now!
