You see, I got tied up with some political work while I was there. Every afternoon I'd hit the swim-up bar and take part in a movement called "Cuba Libre." With just a little bit of coke, rum, and a lime, George, the bartender, assured me I was helping to create a sovereign nation for his Caribbean neighbor.

In real life, I'll most likely wear this crop top (from Saturday's signature "zig zag" line) with high-waisted skirts, just to conceal both my scar and ambiguous abs. But something about the DR made me carefree about such things. I'm guessing it was all the rum.
