MADMEG PR IS HIRING AN INTERN

PR Intern. 
Compensation
Non-paid; Credit is applicable with the possibility of a permanent position. 

Company
MadMeg is a boutique PR and creative services firm located in Houston, Texas. We are a full-service PR agency with diverse clientele ranging from staffing and energy companies to authors, lifestyle bloggers, and fashion illustrators. We do everything in-house including our web design services which is typically contracted out in our industry.
First order of business for the MadMeg Intern, make our office look like this.

Hours
Flexible hours with a minimum of 10-20 hours per week. 

Responsibilities

  • Attending and sitting in on client meetings.
  • Creating and maintaining Mailchimp lists for various clients.
  • Updating and maintaining social media for various clients.
  • Sending pitch emails to top tier fashion publications and other industries when necessary.
  • Filming and photographing assistance for special projects.
  • Attending signings and other events that we've booked for clients.
  • Identifying potential partnerships and engaging the online community.

Requirements

  • Must have own laptop that can work from - preferably a Mac.
  • Strong understanding and competency in social media and blogging.
  • Ability to write professionally and in an articulate manner.
  • Experience in Mailchimp, Blogger, Wordpress, Excel and Photoshop are strongly preferred.
