Mad Meg is still very much a thing. In the past few weeks, I've hired some people, looked at some potential office space, and I'm planning on purchasing a commercial spot during next year's Superbowl.
Sahar Paz is an author (and yoga teacher, life coach, and speaker!!) that I've been working with on a campaign to promote her brand new book, Find Your Voice, The Life You Crave is Just a Conversation Away.
Here a few pics from a book signing/yoga event that we did in Cypress, TX earlier this month.
The jist of Sahar's story is that she’s a survivor of the Iran/Iraq war and moved to the states from Tehran when she was nine. She eventually overcame the trauma and baggage that was inherent with the move; her self identity, “losing” parents but not in the literal sense, drugs, suicide attempts, her relationship to men, etc.
Her book has been best described here; "More than a memoir, this book provides a tool for reflection and a guide, based in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, for tuning in to your authentic, powerful inner voice to create the life you crave."
Juicy, no? Not in a 50 Shades of Grey kind of way but who doesn't want to create the life they crave? Who doesn't want to become more in touch with their intuition, inner self, + soul? I know I do!
Here comes the call to action...
Tomorrow night Sahar is having a book signing event complete with a reading, photography exhibit, drinks, and Persian delicacy treats!
Can't do tomorrow but loving the sound of this?
Sahar is giving away a signed copy of her book to one lucky Greetings from Texas reader!
Just make sure you're following Sahar on instagram and leave your email address in the comments below!
*Have a good weekend everyone! My cousin and I are going to see David Spade tonight and will obvi be at Sahar's event tomorrow! Come join us!
