Technology is great. Shout out to the guy who invented air conditioning. I can't live without FaceTime. I'm pro curing cancer and eager to have pizza delivered via drone. But when it comes to planners, I'm OLD SCHOOL. I want my planner on paper, tangible, and cute to boot. A planner "whore" is what my friend recently called herself when agreeing with my philosophy. While I've rocked a personalized Erin Condren planner for the last two years I've had a wandering eye lately.
Here's the pros and cons of my 3 favorite planner lines;
(The incumbent) Erin Condren - You can personalize it with your name, initials, photos, stickers and more but it's also the most expensive. *Price depends on which style you get and how much personalization - mine was $65ish
GSD y'all!
(Get Shit Done.)
Day Designer ($59) - Now available at Target! These have a cult following and each design is a limited edition that always sells out. I LOVE the exteriors but not crazy about the interior format.
No thanks. |
Rifle Paper - So purdy and I love the interface but its too small! (That's what she said.) Only 8.5 x 7 inches. I do a lot in a day - I need mine much bigger. (That's what she said, again.)
So to conclude, life is hard. Hopefully I can dig deep and make a decision regarding this crucial problem.
Fellow planner whores, is there another brand I need to check out? Fill me in if so - us sluts need to stick together.
THE END
I just got this one, and love it (but it's probably too small for you?). http://helloholiday.com/collections/ban-do/products/ban-do-17-month-agenda-i-am-very-busy
ReplyDeleteThat brand has other cute planners too. And so does this website: http://www.poketo.com/collections/planners
I'm using a Day Designer for Target and it actually looks different than the photo that you posted. Mine is 8.5 x 11" and I like it a lot better than the Erin Condren because it's not spiral bound. That makes it supre heavy!
ReplyDeleteI went to Target and couldn't find the one you must be referencing!! The search continues! XO
DeleteLoooooove planners. LOVE. I recently got one at Bering's that I'm fully obsessed with it. It's my favorite, and I've tried Erin Condren, DayTimer, etc etc etc. It's the one canoe two brand - I got the weekly planner for 2016 (but it starts in August so it's perfecto), and the spaces to write your day's activities/plans in are BIG, which is why I bought it. I don't like those tiny spaces to write shit in. xo
ReplyDeleteKATE SPADE planners!! Love them :)
