Halloween takes on a whole new meaning as a parent. It's no longer about how slutty of a costume you get away with justified by the holiday, but rather about being excited for your kid. (Well, maybe it's still a little bit about being slutty.)
We kicked off the weekend at Macy's school festivities.
Mace, now an elderly 3 yr. old, choose her own costume this year and wanted to be a "witch". Creative. But this was the first time of countless occasions that will occur in life where my job is simply to support her decision and help her execute it as opposed to pushing my own agenda. That's how it works, no?
And we're off.
The only thing Mace liked more than trick or treating was handing out candy herself as this lil video demonstrates.
Have a great day everyone! I have a lot of posts planned for this week as opposed to last week where I almost died due to a crippling strep throat diagnosis*. Hugs!
