Greetings from Florida where Mace and I rang in the New Year in Florida, per usual.
My Dad lives in Florida so every year my brother and I (and our families) spend New Years with him as opposed to Christmas..
This year we didn't stay at my Dad's house but a resort nearby. It was a "family resort" meaning the pools were filled with urine but Macy loved it as there lots of friends for her to play with.
They also had tons of activities for Macy to partake in, like this little tramp stamp station.
Macy ended up getting an enormous fairy which was sorta WT but she'd been campaigning hard for "a spider" on her face so I felt like the fairy was a win.
A highlight of the week was having our own private bonfire on the beach, as Jules and my nephew, Roman, are doing here.

How I feel about my Dad but also an amazing flick, anyone remember it?
Family.
Once it got dark we let off these Chinese lanterns.
It's such a strong metaphor of letting everything from this year float away into oblivion.
The next day we chartered a boat to go looking for dolphins.

But all good things must come to end.
Mace and I got home late last night and I'm ready to get this New Year started.
