Being the big time blogger that I am, I carry a little journal in my purse. This way, when I have an amazing post idea, I can immediately write it down. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve yet to have an amazing post idea. Buts it’s nice to know I’m ready should one come.
Last night I was cleaning out my purse in order to make room for the snacks I was smuggling into the movie theatre. (Horrible Bosses, not great, I’d wait for rental.) My blank journal was one of the first things to go in this process…..Or blank, so I thought.
Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted my handwriting in the journal. Quickly, I turned the first page. It all came rushing back to me!! I had written down a post idea weeks ago and forgotten all about it.

Incase you’re struggling with that impeccable handwriting and clear photo quality, it basically says;
Drinks….
Drinks..
Got Drunk at Eddie V’s Restaurant..
Raped the mint bowl on my way out..
And if that’s not an amazing idea for a post, I don’t know what is.
It's ideas like these that make me the big time blogger/writer that I am. It's basically me, Perez Hilton, and Hemingway.

ReplyDeleteInteresting posts. I write in notepads; lots of notes and a diary at the side of my bed! I prefer Wordpress to Blogger now - even the comments are awkward at times on Blogger.
Love this! I carry a notebook too, and generally end up making grocery lists in it. Brilliant blog ideas? Not really. Your blog is great, I'm definitely a new fan.
