Forever 21

Now that I'm 30, I'm asking myself all the big, heavy, and important life questions that I bet most woman do upon reaching this milestone. Some of these questions are;
  • Do I want to have children?
  • Do I want to get married? (though I already answered this one)
  • Should I be getting life insurance or something like that?
  • How do you go about getting life insurance?
  • Should I know more about taxes? I feel like I should know more about taxes.
But the most important question, and the question that I really want to examine today is;
  • Can I still shop at Forever 21?
After putting some serious thought and consideration into this, I've decided the answer is "yes".
(Did you hear that? It was mature women across America cheering!)

Yes. It's acceptable for 30-somethings to shop at Forever 21 assuming you keep it classy. Its harder than it sounds. Forever 21 is rampant with clothes that say "clubbing in Vegas." This is bad news, at any age, unless of course, you're going clubbing in Vegas.

No sequins. No message tees. Nothing super skanky. Just keep it classy, alright? If you keep it classy, you should be alright.

  2. I agree and shopped there in my 30s. Unfortunately, I recently turned 40 and almost like clockwork, it now seems it is now impossible to keep it classy and shop at Forever 21. Enjoy it while you can!

    Oh, and you don't really need life insurance until you have a child (if you so decide).

    And on the taxes, just pay them. Don't worry too much about it or you'll like experience horrific migraines.

    See how much wisdom comes with turning 40!!

  3. I love this post:) I say shop away at F21. Always throw a cardi over a wild graphic tee and it definitely says "I know a little something about taxes." So glad I found your blog! XO

  4. I agree. There are some things at Foever 21 that you probably wouldn't want to wear at 30, but they have a lot of classy, mature, pieces that can be incorporated into a nice, stylish outfit. So I wouldn't give that up.
