An Interview with Jentine from My Edit

I've always liked Canadians; Rachel McAdams, Avril Lavigne, The Biebs, Robin Scherbatsky from How I Met Your Mother - what's not to like? Especially when you throw blogger, Jentine, on that list.

Jentine's blog, My Edit, is one of the very first blogs I started reading regularly. Not only does the girl have style but she shares my love for thrifiting. (Though she's better at it and has a great 'thrift tips' page on her blog to prove it.)

Jentine is speaking at Texas Style Council in March and I can't wait to meet her. Jentine, I'll be the one asking for your autograph. Or a lock of your hair. Or both.

I love the fig chicken salad sandwich from The Cheese Shoppe on Locke Street. I will battle parking for that sandwich... I am generally not fussy about where I eat. I prefer places with patios and pitchers of sangria though...

WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF BEING A BLOGGER?

PROS

• I met some amazing new friends.
• I get to explore fashion in a new way.
• I write at least a few times a week.
• I read less Perez Hilton.

CONS

• My new friends live far away... sometimes it would be nice to just meet for a coffee...
• Balancing real-life and an online life. It sounds dumb but you need to watch what you say/write/show of others and watch that your little life being the laptop doesn't take you away from enjoying the things happening around you.
• Sometimes I get jealous over stupid shit. Which makes me feel stupid..
