Jen Lancaster Interview

For a long time Jen Lancaster has been my favorite author. Jen's voice embodies the type of writing that I enjoy; funny, pop culture referenced, informal, did I mention funny?

All this to say that interviewing Jen last week, while she was in town for her most recent book tour, was extremely exciting.

Jen's been interviewed on The Today Show, The Joy Behar Show, CNN, NPR, and now, clearly a contemporary of those platforms, Greetings From Texas!  My favorite accolade of Jen's, however, unfolded last night when I was flipping through slowly savoring my US Weekly and saw her book recommended there.  Basically, she's a huge deal.

Without further ado, may I introduce Jen Lancaster.

  1. Great post and I just love her. Now feel bad that I had to mention vampire sex (well, technically, she started it) in books.

I think I remember seeing you at the event on Tuesday.

  5. I got to see Jen in Manhatten last year, I travelled up all by myself to get to see her along with Grab Bag Barbie. Like the dork that I am I specifically purchased a pastel blue polo shirt to wear to the event ! I was a little salty cause the dude took a shitty pic of me LOL

  6. I can't tell you how immensely jealous I am! I've been a fan of Jen's for about two years now and I immediately thought of her while reading your book. Two of my favorite author/bloggers in one video? Score!

  7. Love, Love, LOVE her! When my fiance and I were sharing a car and I had spend close to half my day at Barnes and Noble waiting to get picked up after a shift, I devoured her books.I felt like I had found my best friend who got my snarky, sarcastic way of life.
Don't hate me for asking, but is the rest of that interview up anywhere that I might have missed? Anything that comes out of her mouth/fingers is gold-- that's what she said?
