Two breaking announcements about Macy.
1. She has leather pants.
2. She has pneumonia.
The leather pants were a Christmas gift from my mother.
The pneumonia was a Christmas gift from her fellow classmates or perhaps a piece of garbage that she ate of the floor, because she sometimes does that.
Her doctor told me yesterday that the first week of January (when kids return to school) is his practice's slowest week of the year. The second week of January is their busiest as kids have now had ample time to exchange their viruses, mucus, and other bodily fluids. I like to think of it as a post-holiday White Elephant exchange of sorts.
We took these pics 48 hours ago. So unbeknownst to me at the time, she was experiencing pneumonia as I coached her to "pop" her hip out for the camera.
Pretty good, considering!!
Danny and I are splitting the day today in terms of work and taking care of our sick penguin.
I'll be with her in the morn, Danny this afternoon.
She'll resume her grueling career as model in 10 days upon finishing her amoxicillin.
