Last week I had the pleasure of attending a very fancy magazine launch party as my friend, Julie, had written an article for the issue being celebrated. I'd never been more proud of Julie, not necessarily for her article (though I'm sure it was good), but for getting us into this AMAZING PARTY!
It was at The Dunlavy which I'd never been to but is now my new favorite place in Houston. Have you heard of it? It's an event space at night, breakfast/lunch place during the day. It was so swank with all the chandeliers! I imagine it's equally scenic during the day, but in a different capacity, as it overlooks the Bayou. (For my fellow Yankees - "Bayou" means creek, I think..)
The party had a very posh vibe going which we of course ruined by doing things like this.
Looking back, our "sexy" sessions in the photobooth were probably pretty obnoxious as well.

If you follow Julie (jlb4567) or Candace (candacelwk) on Snapchat you know that we then went to Local Pour where I did some light dancing and then experienced communication complications with my Uber driver - all pretty standard occurrences for a night out on the town.
