Parenting Advice

My parenting style tends to be pretty relaxed.  This  e-card  about parenting sums it best, "I plan to give you love, nurturing, and just enough dysfunction to make you funny." I've actually been a parent for 1 year, 1 month, and 9 days now though and I'm finally ready to dole out my first bit of wisdom. You ready?

When your child crawls into your office furniture and  transcends themselves into human home décor your first instinct will be to grab your camera.

Macy will be available in West Elm and Pottery Barn soon.

Do we all follow where this is going?

Neat.

Bad girl.

The lesson? If you opt to grab your camera as opposed to removing all the breakables, you're going to have to buy a new buddha.

I hope you've enjoyed this post on parenting advice. Next time I'll take on more controversial subjects such as gluten, cyber-bulling, breastfeeding, and the correlation between vaccines and autism. In the meantime, I'm going shopping for a new buddha.

P.S. I got my blog/web design business tightened up over the weekend. Hurry up and hire me!

  2. What I love is that Macy learned a lesson just like Mommy did. And the remorse is present on her sweet little cheeks. Parenting = A+
She couldn't be a drop cuter. Not one.
