BRIDESIDE STYLE SHOOT

Gahhhhhh! The pictures from our Brideside style shoot are back! For background and context of this respective shoot, consult my previous post here. For those of you who are up to speed and/or don't care, proceed ahead!

Um, Paige made this. Like, straight up DIY style. #multitalented

Heavenly, right? I don't use that word lightly. Can you actually image sitting at this rustic, remote tablescape with your newly official spouse, drinking champagne (or maybe an old fashioned?!), eating something delicious (sushi?), both looking sexy in your wedding get-up?   Heavenly!

*For you Houstonians who are curious - this was shot in Memorial Park.

*If this is heaven, then Jennifer Laura Design is "God" in that she created it.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride is not the case here. For this shoot, the bridesmaid dresses dictated and were the central focus of what we wanted to create. Meg (blond) + Miranda (brunette) are wearing two different styles (duh) but in the same teal hue.

In short, Brideside is like the Warby Parker of the bridesmaid dress world in that you can pick a few styles and sizes, have them shipped to you, try them on, and then send back what doesn't work. Their selection is like JCrew, however, in that every dress comes in a bazillion different hues. Meg's dress is Wtoo by Waters in teal. Miranda is wearing the Joanna August  style.

They say that your fake wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. So true!

And then we snapped a few shots in these dresses that Paige found from, wait for it, F21, just because we thought they'd pop with the boho aesthetic. (This metallic maxi dress comes in gold, rose gold, and silver. Buy today and get free shipping!)
And now let's talk about muah, shall we? I'm in this Brideside dress, styled with a F21 top.
(This is my favorite brideside bridal dress though. #perfection!)

Same brideside dress - now just styled with a F21 kimono.

Ugh, enough. I'm over myself. I am to this blog what Bruce Jenner is to the tabloids.

-And just a few more favorites-

That's a wrap. I'll post the rest on my Greetings from Texas Facebook page so click on over to that if you're interested. I've listed the vendors below but special thanks to our genius photographer, Paigester, (I'm so proud of my friend) and of course Brideside

**For those of who you missed me last week, I'll be back this week discussing the very things that were responsible for my absence. But as a spoiler alert, I'll tell you that I'm about to launch 3 new websites, I have a new gig that I've been in Chicago for, I've started a new book I'm obsessed with, and I still have that beast of a child (a.k.a Macy) that is still not self sufficient. #lifeishard
